Peer Mediation


Peer Mediation provides conflict resolution meetings to enable student disputants to successfully remediate concerns/problems with the help of trained peer mediators. 

Eligibility Requirements:  Students interested in becoming a Peer Mediator must complete the following:  A) Written application, B) Two teacher recommendations, C) Show proof of significant attendance or discipline problems, D) Attend mandatory annual training sessions, and E) Maintain a 2.0 GPA. 

Meeting Times:  Peer Mediation training sessions are conducted once per school year; mediation sessions are scheduled as requested, usually within 24 hours.  Mediator meetings are help during D homeroom an average of once per month.
